God’s Plans for Hope and a Future- Tariro Ramangwana

by Cleo Nyamusara

“I know the plans I have in mind for you,” declares the Lord, “they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Devotion
Sometimes life feels uncertain. We may worry about our future, our dreams, or the challenges ahead. In those moments, it is easy to feel afraid or discouraged. But God reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11 that He already has a plan, and His plan is filled with hope, purpose, and love.

This verse was spoken to people who were going through difficult times, yet God assured them that their struggles were not the end of their story. In the same way, even when we do not understand what is happening in our lives, we can trust that God is working behind the scenes for our good.

God’s plans may not always match our own, but they are always better. When we trust Him, remain faithful, and continue doing what is right, we can walk forward with confidence knowing our future is safe in His hands.

Reflection Question
How can I trust God more with my future, even when I do not know what lies ahead?

Prayer
Dear Lord, thank You for the plans You have for my life. Help me trust You even when I feel unsure or afraid. Guide my steps and fill my heart with hope for the future. Amen.
