Come as you are.

You are welcome to dress as you feel comfortable. People wear everything from “Sunday best” to business casual to shorts and sandals. Whether you are a lifelong United Methodist, or this is your first visit to church, we are glad for you to be part of our community. You will never be singled out or asked to stand in front of the congregation. You may participate in the worship service in any way that is comfortable to you. 

Children are welcome.

Families with children are important at Community UMC. We encourage children to participate in the worship services, but understand that it may be hard for little ones. Our nursery is available for little ones from infant to 3, and activity bags are also available during worship. We also offer Children’s Church for kids in PreK through 5th grade. Learn more here.

When is communion?

Communion is celebrated every first Sunday of the month. As United Methodists, we believe this is God’s table, and God welcomes all. No matter your age or background, you are welcome to partake in the bread and juice as signs of God’s love.
