Child Development Center FAQ

Children must be at least three (3) years old and fully potty trained to enroll at the Child Development Center.

Community UMC’s Child Development Center provides a morning and afternoon snack, served with milk and/or water. Children should bring a lunch from home, which will be refrigerated upon arrival.

Community UMC’s Child Development Center welcomes families of all faith backgrounds. Children and their families do not need to be members of the church to attend.

Community UMC’s Child Development Center is a ministry of the Church. While the CDC Director is in charge of the day to day operations of the Center, we uphold the policies and ideals of the Church. 

At this time, we are unable to accept electronic payment.

Community UMC’s Child Development Center has been re-licensed and approved by the Maryland Department of Education and the Anne Arundel County Department of Health to operate under all new COVID-19 protocols.  We take this pandemic very seriously and have initiated extensive and additional sanitation and safety protocols to protect our students and their families.  Our teachers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
