PEACE of Mind
Personal hygiene is about more than being clean and comfortable. It can play an important role in a child’s confidence and their ability to focus and learn. Even elementary-aged students can feel self-conscious when they don’t have access to basic hygiene essentials, affecting how they participate in school and interact with their peers.
Through this CommUNITY in Action project, we’ll assemble hygiene kits for nearly 400 Title I elementary students. Each kit provides practical essentials to a child, giving them a little PEACE of Mind to help them focus on learning and connecting in the classroom.
