I am heartbroken, again, to learn of another mass shooting. I’m angry, livid, and want to do something.
So I’m going to pray.
Join with me at 7 pm tonight, and again each night for the next 18 days — one day/night for each child killed — wherever you are, and pray however the Spirit moves you. Pray for the victims. Pray for the families. Pray for our country where these types of events are all too common.
I’m also going to pray that the Spirit puts my prayers into action. Here are several suggestions from our official stance on gun violence enacted by the United Methodist General Conference in 2016.
