I’m New!

First visit to Community?

We know it can be somewhat overwhelming entering into a new environment for the first time, so here are some helpful things for you on your first visit. Our hope is that you feel welcome and can relax a little bit.If you are bringing children or youth, try to arrive 15 minutes early and we’ll help you get them checked in if you want them to check out Sunday School, The Gathering (for middle and high schoolers), or the Nursery. When you first arrive, you’ll find a friendly group of people ready to welcome you.  In the pews you will find a First Time Guest Welcome Card and can fill out a Connect Card, so we can follow up with you and get to know you!

What’s a Sunday Like?

Our Contemporary Worship Service meets at 9:00 AM in the sanctuary and is led by our Contemporary Worship Team, with contemporary songs and new arrangements of traditional hymns.

Our Traditional Worship Service meets at 10:45 AM in the sanctuary with music provided by the Community UMC Chancel Choir, Children’s Choirs, and the Handbell Choir.

Each week we gather together to worship God and to remind one another of His amazing grace and love poured out through Jesus into our hearts by his Spirit.

Sundays are a time to gather together with people that live, work, and play in Crofton and celebrate the good news about Jesus. It’s a time to remember the truths that have changed our lives. We firmly believe that our street address is just a building, but when the people gather it’s where you find the church!

We have a coffee hour between services to fellowship with all!
