New Sermon Series: All Saints & Sinners

What is church? That word brings images and emotions to mind, some positive and some not so much! Webster’s dictionary will tell you that church is a building, but No. The word “church” comes from the Greek word “ekklesia” which literally means “the called-out assembly.” So . . . it’s an assembly of . . . people, messy and imperfect people being called out of their messiness and imperfections into a radical community, a counter culture community, loving one-another and the world like God loves us. Everyone, a saint and a sinner at the same time, BUT over time smelling more like saints than sinners as we rub off on one another. In November, please join us as Community Church explores what it means to be church – All Saints and Sinners – what friendship, family, and community looks like in this called-out assembly – church.
