We have four main communications channels that we are using as we have moved to 100% online communications. If you have questions about an event, an online gathering, a new worship series, etc…, Realm is the most up-to-date place to check first before consulting other channels.
1) Realm – our private, secure, internal social network for church members, regular attendees, and guests who want to be connected into the life of the congregation. It is our goal to have Realm be the primary place for the most up-to-date information. In Realm, you can view posts that go out to the whole congregation, as well as posts specific to the groups you are in. You can join the Prayer Vine group and get instant notification when someone is asking for prayer, or post your own prayer requests. 2) Community Connection E-Newsletter – our public weekly email newsletter. Subscribe to receive the updates right to your inbox by visiting cumc.net/newsletter.
3) Website – our digital “front porch” which provides information that is mostly aimed at the larger community external to Community UMC. It is also the home of our online worship in this season of stay-at-home order. Visit cumc.net/online-worship to join in on Sundays at 10:00 AM.
4) Facebook – our public social media page for sharing information about the church, links to relevant articles and media, and sharing social aspects of the church life (photos, videos, things to celebrate, etc…). Visit https://www.facebook.com/CUMC.Crofton to follow our page.
