Ash Wednesday, February 14

    • Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, a time when many Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline.
Palm Sunday, March 24
  • 9 a.m. Procession from Checkers on Davidsonville Road
  • 10 a.m. Worship with Fowler, Cecil, Wilson, and Bowie UMCs
Maundy Thursday, March 28
  • 7 p.m. Worship
    • About Maundy Thursday: Maundy Thursday was the night that Jesus and the disciples gathered together in the Upper Room for their last meal together. Jesus washed the disciples’ feet and instituted what we now observe as the sacrament of Holy Communion.
Good Friday, March 29
  • 7 p.m. Worship
    • About Good Friday: We observe Good Friday by recalling the betrayal by Judas, the arrest and torture of Jesus, the desertion of the disciples, and Jesus’ crucifixion, death, and burial. It is the most somber day of the church year.
Easter Sunday, March 31
