Resources & Support for Our Neighbors

As followers of Jesus, we’re called to care for one another—especially when times are tough. With government shutdowns, SNAP benefit reductions, and rising grocery costs, many of our neighbors are struggling to provide for their families.

For those wanting to assist:
  • Monetary Donations –
    • Gifts to the Crofton Christian Caring Council support the Baby Pantry, food pantry, and financial assistance programs: cumc.net/givecccc
    • Give to Stirring Up Hope, our pop-up meal kit initiative, at cumc.net/stir
    • Give to Backpack Meals, which supports nearly 100 students in Crofton. Learn more and donate.
  • Donations of Goods
    • Baby Pantry: new, unopened diapers and wipes can be dropped off at Community United Methodist Church. Contact Art McQuade for a list of specific needs
    • Food Pantry: nonperishable items, particularly hearty soups, canned chicken and tuna, cereals
