End of the Year Letter

The end of a year is a good time for remembering, taking stock, catching up and growing in generosity.  On that note, we’d like to express our thanks for all the gifts you have made so far to Community Church.  Because of your gifts, we have been able to continue to serve our church family, reach new families and bless our outreach ministries.

You may or may not know that we have been able to sustain our ministries by using gifts from previous years.  Those commitments to dip into our reserves has allowed us to maintain ministries and staffing that would otherwise have to be reduced.  We are very close to a point where we will be able to fully fund our current year expenses with current year income.  We are now asking for your help in achieving this goal.

In recognizing the importance of ministries being planned next year, December is a chance for you to help us finish the year strong by sharing an additional end-of-year gift.  This would be an awesome response to the many positive things that are happening at Community.  Your gift will help us start 2019 in a very strong financial position.

Visit cumc.net/give to learn about how you can participate. Please note, all gifts, including cash and securities, must be received by the church on or before December 31 to be considered tax deductible for 2018.  If you would like to transfer stock, please contact Charlie Moore as soon as possible (cmoore@telatlantic.net or 410-703-3557).  He can assist you in taking the necessary steps to implement this tax saving strategy.

God is working in us and among us.  Thank you so much for your generosity and faithfulness.
